At the heart of Reggioli is a restored 18th-century stone farmhouse with views reaching across Val d’Orcia towards Monte Amiata and Radicofani. The farmhouse has been restored with respect for traditional materials and rural architecture, while gently adapting to present-day needs through ecological building principles. The wider project is more than accommodation. Reggioli is slowly growing towards the vision of a 126-hectare ecovillage: a place where food, land, hospitality, craft, education and community life can be brought back into relationship. It is a working rural place, alive with experiments in self-sufficiency, shared meals, ecological restoration and cultural richness. The place is strongly expressed through their food! Reggioli’s kitchen is organic and mainly vegetarian or vegan, with a rich breakfast made from farm and local produce. Three yurts sit around an orchard and meadow beside the Old Manse, open for stays from February to the end of November. The site has two 20ft yurts sleeping up to six guests and one 18ft yurt sleeping up to four, all with comfort and a direct connection to outdoor living. This listing is Monamore, located at the lower end of our orchard amongst ash and sycamore trees. It sleeps up to six people via a double bed and two double futons. Alternate sleeping configurations can be provided if preferred, including a cot. The yurts come with bedding, towels, books, toys, games, solar lighting, WiFi and a wood-burning stove/cooker with oven for warmth and simple cooking.
